The Doula Difference

Why I love being a doula :: All of my drawings as a little girl were of me being a "baby nurse", so I love to say I was born to be a doula! The dream became a reality when I was able to be my sister's support person at the birth of my nephew in 2005. Seeing the miracle outside of my own birth experiences, and seeing how I could help play a part in a baby's entry into the world in a beautiful, empowering way is amazing and indescribable!
My first birth experience having my son felt traumatic, greatly because I did not have anyone helping or guiding me, but the births of my two daughters were peaceful and beautiful ~ both situations inspire me to do what I do! After every birth experience, I leave incredibly honored to have been invited to attend such a miraculous, intimate, and special event for families. It is a moment you will remember forever, and you and your baby deserve to have amazing birth support and a satisfying experience! I'm beyond blessed to be doing what I was created to do! |
